About Jenny To
Artist Statement
Jenny, who is 5.8 feet tall, considers her height a strength when painting large-scale pieces. Because of the tense and intense situations they depict, she is particularly interested in post-apocalyptic and horror-themed comics, movies, and television series. Observing these unsettling tales from a distance provides her with both a sense of safety and fascination. The emotions of loneliness, and creepiness that these works evoke often directly inspire her artistic creations.
Furthermore, Jenny's two years of study in interior and environmental design shape her artwork's structural elements and compositions, enabling her to delve into the interplay between emotional narratives and spatial dynamics.
