Through this project, artist's complicated emotions to the sky with anxiety and calmness was brought out. She feared turning my head to look up into the clear sky for a long time. Yet, she likes appreciating the sky. She painted the reflection as if it had the feeling of falling into it. In addition, the reflections were located indoors. The architecture was like a protection to prevent the artist from being elevated into the sky. It was the most comfortable way for her to look at the sky. Her methodologies were editing the reference photo before she started drawing, combining virtual and actual objects with different thicknesses of oil and brush strokes, and using a downward viewing angle.
